Ability to add meta tags, open graph, scripts etc. to the head tag is very important. eg. redirecting mobile users to the mobile website.

If you enable the Site verification module, you can add header tags up to a certain length to your page by selecting "Custom verification" at /admin/config/search/verifications/add .

There is a Drupal 6 module at http://drupal.org/project/opengraph_meta, no sign of a D7 version... Maybe Acquia can make the port. It would be nicest for most users to enter OpenGraph tags in a Drupal interface instead of writing meta tags.

Thanks Jorrit. I added this to one of our Facebook-related projects - tracking internally as #AN-23274.

Is there a way to add the custom verifications to each page individually if required?

Hi Sambhav,
Unfortunately, I don't believe there is currently a way to make different verifications appear on different pages. (Actually, as far as I know, the Site Verification module only allows you to add these tags to the front page of your site, not other pages.)

Hi there,
Drupal Gardens sites on a Professional subscription plan and higher now include the Meta tag module with improved SEO optimization that supports page titles, canonical URLs, keywords, meta tags, Open Graph Protocol, and robots directives.
All of this gives you more control over how search engines and social sites interpret and represent your content to their users.
For more information, please see our most recent What's New Announcement for a full list of feature enhancements and bug fixes.
Thanks!
