It appears to be somewhere between difficult and impossible to apply a background to the entire page/site. That is, most of the area is fine, with me using a "vegetables" image. However, the Drupal Gardens logo/button seems to live in a separate sphere, so that one has to give THAT area its own background, creating an ugly seam.... And below that - Chrome, 1280xsomething - is yet another area that I can't even get at because the bottom 1/4 or so of the screen that gets "hijacked" to deal with customizations covers the affected area. But if one brings up galleries & scrolls down, there's the ugly and discordant "Sonoma" background. THANKS.

Hi bbcsa,
I noticed that you have the background image entered twice - once in the #page area and again in the #copyright area as shown in this screenshot:

Can you see what happens if you delete the second image from the #copyright area so that you just have one single image remaining in the #page area?
Then, can you experiment with the background repeat buttons and try the no repeat button so that the whole image for #page applies to the entire page? Perhaps, this will get rid of that "seam" at the bottom. Also, try the vertical repeat button as well to see what happens then.
Here's a screenshot of these buttons:

You can open up your site in two different browsers so that you're looking at one with the ThemeBuilder launched and in the other browser you can see the entire page without ThemeBuilder launched.
Be sure to clear all caches after you've made your changes by going to Admin > Configuration > Development > Performance.
Also, if the "Powered By Drupal Gardens" block is really bothersome, you might consider uprading to a higher level plan so that you are free to disable that block and remove it from the copyright region.
Let me know if any of this information helps you!
