I am receiving (for days now) an error message: "Access Denied" when attempting to reach the page: Create Content -> +Add Media -> Embed from URL -> "See List of Providers." I am logged in as site maintainer/admin and have accessed the page in the past.

Hi Festive Patriot,
Since you are the site maintainer, admin, and an editor on the site, I checked your permissions for the editor role under Admin > People > Permissions > Roles, and found that the permissions were not checked for the editor role to view the list of Embed.ly providers:

Once this permission was enabled, I verified that your user account can now view this provider list.
You should be all set now!

Ah, lesson learned and many thanks for the assistance!
Is there a reason C-Span is not on the list? They seem pretty mainstream for such a complete list not to have them.

Your best bet would be to contact embed.ly directly and inquire about a request to add a service provider to their existing list.
