I am trying to upload an image for logo (a banner) which I want to appear on all pages of the site. The browser hangs and becomes nonresponsive after choosing the image. I am on a Mac, and have tried Chrome (which won't launch after killing it -- probably not your fault), and Firefox.

Hi sunrise1,

I just tested uploading two images from your media library into the rotating banner using the latest version of Chrome and Firefox on a Mac OSX. Everything worked fine for me. Are you working with the latest versions of those browsers?

I'm wondering, did you make sure to click "submit" after choosing the image? Sometimes that's a common thing where users double-click on the image to add it to the banner but you actually have to click "submit" for this to work.

I went ahead and cleared your site's cache in Admin > Configuration > Development > Performance which might be helpful as well.

Let me know if you're still experiencing an issue, but all functionality with regard to adding an image to the banner behaved normally from this side.

Thanks!

I get a spinning beachball after choosing the file. I'll test again. I did not press submit, but on the other hand, given that it is giving me a spinning beachball, that would not be my first thought.

Hi Sam,

I still wasn't able to recreate this issue in either Chrome (16.0.912.77) or Firefox 10.0 on a Mac OSX. I was able to successfully access your media library and upload an image to a rotating banner in the banner region without any problems.

Since your site resides on tangle004, which is the group of databases that we're investigating slow performance issues on, the spinning beach ball may be related to that or it could be the browser itself.

Just to cover all bases, it's probably a good idea to clear the browser cookies, and make sure you're running the latest browser versions of Firefox and Chrome. Just curious, have you tried Safari? Obviously if you're having trouble with all browsers, the issue is more than likely related to the problems on tangle 004.

We will keep everyone posted as we have more information.

Thanks!
