I've followed the instructions for enabling comment notify but I still am not getting any notifications when people comment my blog. I don't want to forego the approval process because I've already gotten a nasty irrelevant comment posted once.
This is the message that displays to the user after posting a comment:
Your comment has been queued for review by site administrators and will be published after approval.

Hi there, Paul!
It sounds like what you're after is getting e-mail notifications whenever someone posts a comment on any content that you create. You'll find those options by editing your user account (click your username in the upper-right corner of the Toolbar, then "Edit account"), under the "Comment follow-up and notification settings" fieldset. Try the following settings:
There's also a global setting at Configuration > Comment notify for "Subscribe users to their node follow-up notification emails by default " if you'd like for all of your site's users to default to that behaviour.
Hope that helps! :)

I have had these settings for almost as long as I've had this site and bit I do not receive comment notifications. In fact, I was mortified to discover while trying to troubleshoot a problem I will submit elsewhere that I had 88 unapproved comments in my "Find content/Comments/Unapproved" area.
What else do I need to do to get notifications?? One of my other sites has the same problem...
Thanks,
Linda
