I'm having a couple problems and hope you can help. Seeing cross browser compatibility display issues with the menu navigation. Seems the 'Contact Us' link doesn't disply in Chrome or Firefox. In IE7 and 8 I'm not having this issue. I can't seem to isolate this issue. Any guidance, solutions?

I'm also having trouble styling the drop down. The drop down disapears when I try to select it. Is there anything you can do to add padding to it and make it more easily clickable? Thanks for any help.

Same here. In Firefox the spacing is perfect...the submenu butts up against the main drop-down menu. Unfortunately, Microsoft Explorer there is a slight gap between the menus and when trying to select an item/link from the submenu, it dissappears. Ugh!

Hi @ groundswell and @ rkrueger

With regard to styling the dropdown menus, this is an extremely common problem DG users are having. This is a known bug/issue that has been given a high priority for our engineers to resolve. We are tracking this internally at DG-619.

I know that rkrueger you have addressed this issue in several posts which we have added to the bug report. I will also add your comments above to that report.

However, since the original topic of this thread is about cross compatability issues, I will leave this thread as Unresolved instead of Pending Bug Fix.

Thanks for your patience.

Has there been any updates on this issue? I'd really like to have the menu navigation line up with the banner regardless of what browser it is on. http://theemergentinstitute.org/test Thanks.

Hi groundswell,

It looks like the issue with the menu nav not lining up with the banner is a different problem than the one specified in the bug report above which was resolved at the end of last month.

The bug report discussed in this thread (DG-619) involved the inability to grab onto the second level li's in the navigation menu in order to style them - they would disappear too quickly. In addition there would be spacing between the main menu and the dropdown items.

I did not find this issue with your site in IE 7-9, Chrome, or Firefox.

However, regarding the banner lining up with the main menu, I was definitely able to verify this on Windows 7 using the latest version of Chrome. I did not notice this issue on IE 7 or 8 on Windows XP or on IE9 via Windows 7. On Mac OSX, I did not see this issue on Chrome or Firefox.

I went ahead and created a bug report issue for the rotating banner misalignment problem that includes your most recent comment, screenshots I have taken, as well as a steps-to-reproduce for our engineering team.

We are tracking this issue internally at DG-1960, and we'll keep you posted when we have more information about the status.

Thanks very much for your patience.

Hi there,

The above bug issue, DG-619, was fixed in our most recent Drupal Gardens release.

This bug pertained to ThemeBuilder where styling nested menu items was difficult and sometimes led to broken menu behavior or adverse effects on higher level menu items.

For more information, please see our most recent What's New Announcement for a full list of feature enhancements and bug fixes.

Thanks!
