Globe at War

The Globe at War welcomes those interested in military history and international affairs. Although the primary emphasis is on the Second World War, it also seeks to serve as the web's single best resource for individuals fascinated by the previous hundred plus years of military history. 

The client wanted a site that was easier to maintain than his existing site, which was built using CoffeeCup proprietary web design software. Drupal Gardens to the rescue! The client had previous experience with managing a Drupal 6 site, so learning to navigate the Drupal 7 interface within Gardens was a breeze. The updated user interface and restructured admin menus make it easier to not only add pages, but also photo galleries, live feeds from military news sites, and webforms for visitors to submit their own articles and reviews.
