I'd like to place the login link in the user menu at the top of a Gardens page. It should replace the "Logout" menu item when the user is already logged out.
I can't figure out how to do this.

Hi Jim,
If you visit Structure > Blocks, you can move the Drupal Gardens login block to the same region as the User menu block, and that should get you what you're looking for. If not, or if you have any questions, please let me know.

I've got both Drupal Gardens login and User login blocks enabled, in the 'preface second' region of my theme. Anonymous users see the 'Login or register' link, but once logged in no logout link appears for authenticated users. (This doesn't apply to admin users who do see a logout link on the admin menu bar.) How do I get the logout link to display? Thanks!

Hi laken,
The logout link is controlled by another block, the User menu block.
We are working to consolidate all these - sorry for the confusion.

How come the user menu page seem to be read only when I try to add a link? I am logged in as an admin.

Never mind. It seemed to work. Not sure what changed....

Hello! How do I put my CONTACT page in that user menu block area?
THANKS!

Hi blaireallison,
To add a link to this menu, navigate to Structure > Menus > User Menu > Edit Menu > +Add Link. For the Path, you'll need to put "contact."
Hope this helps!

George,
I followed your advise for the login block. How do I make both blocks show on the same line? Alternatively, how can I right align the login block so that both blocks are right aligned?

Hey, both the Drupal Gardens and User Menu are enabled as blocks, on the same section of the site (preheader second now). The new user sees the drupal garden login, but none of the user menu, and once logged in sees neither.
Under the structure>menus> user menu settings, the 'my account' is disabled and I can't turn it back on. When I toggle the 'enabled' box, it resets to off when I save it.
Smells funny. any suggestions for troubleshooting here?
Thanks!
