Finaly I decided to really try to understand following.

After several attempts to understand, I can't understand that on http://los.drupalgardens.com/ is shown

"Page not found

The requested page "/" could not be found."

a) Can anyone help me to understand what het "page "/" " stands for?

b) How can I place content on this place, in stead of the "Page not found etc. etc."?

Thank you in advance, Roel

Hi roelguldemond,

I took a quick look at your site and noticed that under Admin > Configuration > Site Information that you had your default home page pointing to /<front> which is an unrecognized path for the home page. Please see this screenshot:

So, I went ahead and removed <front> so that the home page is now whatever the default content feed is on your site which appears to be the two main nodes or pieces of content that you have promoted to the front page.

You can point your home page to any node that you like by going into Site Information and adding the appropriate node number like node/86 or simply /blog, etc.

To find your list of node numbers, just go to Admin > Config > URL aliases and you'll see the corresponding node number for each piece of content you've created.

Hope this helps!

Stacy: thank you.

Solved!

I often came along this <front> which you pictured in:  https://skitch.com/e-stacywray/g6uac/site-information-can-the-sun-heat-your-house (site information). And never got aware that this does not work. Now it seems so logic to me.

Happy gardening ;) Roel
