Please delete my account. Drupal Gardens seems to be great, if you can get your site running with the modules supplied. I  have a site with lots of modules you do not have here.

Hi, I would also like to delete my account. I think  you should give every user the possibility to delete his account by himself. It's not that I don't like your service, I just don't need it at the time and I don't want to have accounts that I don't use. Thanks for deleting my account and all my personal data.

Why can I not delete my account? Seriously this is gorrilla marketing that you would really not expect from a company based on the free and open source ethos! 

If it is such a concern to know why I want to delete my account there should be a *optional message that I should send when I delete my account.

In my case I am testing functionality and plan to add the account again, its just such a bloody mission to tweek and test the users for my drupal gardens site.

I got a serious feeling that Acquia has got all suited up with money crazed shareholders and scizofrenik markets who couldnt care less about development && the FLOSS ethos. Man, I hope development seed wasnt right

Can someone explain why these users above cannot delete their own created accounts and sites?

At My Sites > Action > More there is a "delete site" facility which I have used on occasion to rebuild a site (when uploaded files could not be deleted within a site).  

Does this still work if I later choose to delete a site?

Users must surely have permission to delete / purge their sites without calling on assistance from drupalgardens.

You can delete a site, but cancel your account is not an option at the moment appareantly.

So you are a drupalgardener for life?

In my opinion a cancel/close option for your account should be available.

Please close my account too! Drupal Gardens is good but the starter plan doesnt have enough of Drupal's flexibility. I have decided to move my project back to a proper host and my own drupal setup.
