The Gardens beta testers are giving fantastic feedback and lots of people are talking to us about the pricing model. We've had a mountain of requests for custom domains in the free tier - and almost as many people are asking for a higher number of registered users.
We talked about it and we agree. We don't want any barriers to using Drupal Gardens - even for smallest sites, so you'll be able to pay a yearly fee to use a custom domain.
And we removed the limit on the number of registered users for a site. We want you to build sites that are popular and have thousands of members - so now you'll be able to have an unlimited number of users.
Drupal Gardens is still free across all tiers through the end of 2010.

While I understand that Drupal Gardens is free through 2010, am I actually able to pay for the Superer service right now? I'd like that "Powered by Drupal Gardens" badge to disappear :)
