Thank you for adding these items to the Wish List. You will be pleased to know that Tokens already exist in Drupal Gardens, but because of the integral role they play in our sites, we do not allow users to see or configure the module in their Modules list.
With respect to Rules, we currently have an active Feature Request in our systems which we are using to track customer interest in this module. I have gone ahead and added your vote to that request, which is being tracked internally as issue DG-2601.
As of our latest service update on March 12th, you can now add tokens (beta) to any content making it more personalized and dynamic based on the logged-in user, current date, site details, and more.
