Hi k00b00ki,

I accessed the link in question at koobooki.drupalgardens.com and was not able to verify any kind of error or long page of code.

In your status updates, there was a notification to update and regenerate the XML Sitemap files which I did do and then ran cron, and cleared all cache.

Let me know if that makes a difference. If you do see this page full of code again, try to grab a screenshot and paste the link into the thread here so we can take a look.

Thanks!

Hi Stacy. Thanks for looking into this. My apologies, I should've tested it on other browsers first. It would appear to be an issue with browser support.

http://screencast.com/t/b44cYLvN Firefox

http://screencast.com/t/nHs8uZfblqZ Chrome

http://screencast.com/t/TMFNalIVBU Safari

It appears to work only for Firefox(I normally work with Chrome). Thanks again :)

Hi k00b00ki,

Yep, I definitely see what you're saying.

I found a related post regarding this very issue with respect to Chrome that you might find interesting:

I went ahead and created a bug report for our engineers documenting your experience above that we're tracking internally at DG-2522.

As soon as we have further information about next steps, we'll be sure to post back here.

Thanks!

Hi k00b00ki,

We just heard from our Engineering Team on this particular bug, and apparently the long page of code you're experiencing in Chrome is normal behavior.

Here's the recommended workaround:

This is actually correct behavior for the non-Firefox browsers. Consuming rss.xml files requires a dedicated reader to parse the xml. Firefox has a built-in rss reader which allows it to display feed content. To consume this content, the user may want to download a dedicated rss reader.

Since the behavior you described and documented is actually not a bug and won't fix, I am going to go ahead and mark this issue as Resolved.

Thanks very much!
