Hi Chris
Has this limit changed?
I've just tried uploading an 11MB PDF but it won't go.
Seems like anything under 10MB is fine.

We haven't changed the upload limits on the sites.
Is there any other error you get? Is this with any other file type?

Hi Heather
I don't get an error message when uploading the file.
When trying to add the PDF ( Content > Media > Add File) I am simply unable to drag and drop a file into the upload list. Selecting the file via the file browser doesn't work either.
Just noticed that I can't upload MP4's either. Regardless of the size. It doesn't seem to want to accept the file type even though it is listed in the 'Allowed file types'
Any idea what might be going on?
Thanks again
Ben

Hi Ben,
Which browser are you trying this in? Does it work if you use another?
Is the PDF available online anywhere else so we can test its upload on another site?

Hi George
I don't have a copy of the PDF in question anyhwere on the net.
I've tried uploading a variety of different PDF's between 10-20MB
I've also tried uploading mp3's between 10-20MB
No luck with either.
The issue is present in all my browsers Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Safari.
Just noticed that I was wrong in saying that I have uploaded a file over 10MB before. Largest uploaded file is 8MB
Is there any setting panel where I may have changed the limit? Could it be anything to do with flash settings etc?
Are you able to try and upload a dummy pdf file to my site?
I'm on a mac that has windows in bootcamp. I'll try uploading the file via windows and see if the problem persists there.
Thanks for the help
Ben

We'll have to look into this further - tracking internally as #AN-23131.
In the meantime, can you add a file field to one of your content types at /admin/structure/types and try uploading through that?

I am also unable to upload files greater than 10 MB.

Hi there,
Same issue for me on all browsers, even though the Add File dialog under Content -> Media seems to indicate that the upper limit is 256Mb.
Any ETA on a fix for this?
Thanks!
11:32pm
Well, in the mean time while they work on a fix, I'm gonna use a place like 4shared.com and host the files there and then crosslink them since they are "my" finals and I own the copyrights.
Still look forward to the day this issue is resolved though.
Cheers,
Shad

This seems to now be fixed in the recent release. I just successfully uploaded a 14.5MB PDF.
Let us know.

I successfully uploaded a 17.5MB file today.

Hi all,
At this time, the 256 MB limit for file uploads should be working as expected. As Chris mentioned above, the bug should have been squashed in our most recent release, but please let us know if you experience any issues with files under 256 MB.
Thanks!
