Earlier this afternoon, we experienced a temporary service interruption on the Drupal Gardens platform. Although we have been able to restore full service, we continue to investigate the root cause to avoid future performance disruptions. We will update this post when we have more information. Thank you for your patience during this time.

On Thursday, November 17, Drupal Gardens experienced a temporary surge in network traffic that slowed access to a small number of the Drupal Gardens servers for approximately 45 minutes. As a result, some site owners and site members were unable to log into their websites or experienced delays logging in to their sites.
Upon identifying the issue, the Drupal Gardens team immediately took steps to adjust the availability of resources for our hosting infrastructure. This response resolved the surge and will allow Acquia to more flexibly deal with future network demands.
