Is there any way to suppress the default option for radio buttons? Our forms are "tests" and the students will be pretty confused by the default.

Hi jane,

Looking at the webform on your site, there's no default currently set on the radio buttons there. It should be a matter of creating the webform control and not setting a default in the edit screen.

I hope that helps. Any questions or troubles please let me know.

Hmmm. Can you check this page: http://chicle.drupalgardens.com/registration-forms/english-placement-tes...? We're working on our "real" site, not the test I was playing with on jane1. Whenever I added a radio button, the default was set to the first value. And I can't seem to get rid of it. I wonder if there's some global setting I'm not finding?

Thanks, Jane

Jane, for each rado button set, add a new item, then immediately delete the new item. None of the radio buttons should be selected now for that set. Save the form and you'll see that none of the radio buttons is selected by default.

Clever and much thanks! You have to add the button, set it to the default, and then delete it.
