Managing billing information

You can be billed for your Drupal Gardens websites monthly, or you can pay for your websites a year in advance.

For paid subscriptions, you'll either be charged automatically each month for monthly subscriptions, or at the end of each pre-paid year for yearly subscriptions. As long as your credit card is current and valid, no further action is required for your subscription to renew.

Important: All paid sites listed on your My Sites page are billed to the same credit card on file. If you want to use different credit cards for each of your sites, either create a new account for each site, or transfer site ownership to another existing account.

Additional billing details

The following sections provide specific billing information regarding your paid Drupal Gardens subscription:

Credit card expiration

If your credit card is close to its expiration date, we'll send an email to the site owner account with a reminder that it needs to be updated.

If your credit card expires and subscription payments become due, we'll email the site owner account to update their billing information. If we cannot obtain a valid credit card after sending three emails, your websites may be suspended until we can collect any overdue payments. Site subscriptions cannot be canceled until all payments are reconciled.

After expired credit cards are updated, any payments that are due are usually charged within 24 hours.

Stopping payment

If you stop payment for any reason (including stopping payment with your credit card company), you remain obligated to pay for any Drupal Gardens services that you obtained.

If you need to cancel your subscription to Drupal Gardens, you must complete the cancellation form, and ensure that there aren't any outstanding charges related to your account.

Removing custom domain names

Note that if you remove a custom domain name from your Drupal Gardens website, it does not cancel the website or remove your financial liabilities for the website.

Changing your billing/payment information

You can update your credit card information, such as your name, address, or credit card, from the Drupal Gardens account page at any time.

To change your billing information:

  1. Log in to Drupal Gardens at www.drupalgardens.com.
  2. To access your account on Drupal Gardens (this is different than your account page on your site), click the Hello your_username link.
  3. Click the Edit my billing info link and make your changes.

  4. Click Continue, and then click Confirm.

Viewing past bills and downloading your invoices

To access your bills and download your invoices:

  1. Log in to Drupal Gardens at www.drupalgardens.com.
  2. To access your account on Drupal Gardens (this is different from your account page on your site), click the Hello your_username link.
  3. Click on the View billing history link.

    The billing history page lists your invoices for all of your sites.
