To have an effective website, you must provide it with content that's useful and able to be understood by your site's visitors. These requirements include having your website be in a language that your site's visitors expect, and can read.
Site language display options
Select from the following language display options for your website:
- Changing your site to another, single language (other than English)
- Configuring your site to display in multiple languages, based on your website's visitors
Current limitations
The terms internationalization and localization apply to this process. Internationalization is what allows you to make content available to users in different languages. Localization is the actual translation of content into another language.
At this time, Drupal Gardens supports internationalization, but does not localize content. You can use this process to display your site in another community-supplied language, but you're responsible for localizing (translating) your content if it's not already in the new language.
