Composition tips

Here you can see how the blocks are composed:

Configure product feature block

  • Block description - This text helps you identify the block on the Blocks Page at Structure > Blocks
  • Block title - (Left blank here.) If you add a title, it will be displayed with the block. By default, the title displayed in these blocks is the one set inside the body text, but feel free to experiment!
  • Block Body
    • 55x55 pixel image - Add your own by clicking "Add media".
    • H2 header text - This acts as the title displayed within the block. Set the text style with the paragraph format drop-down control.
    • Plain text - Short description of a product feature. Set text style with the paragraph format drop-down control.

How to create a product feature block

If you didn't turn on the "Product Feature Blocks" feature when you created your site, you can still add blocks at any time.

  1. Go to the Blocks page at Structure > Blocks
  2. Click "+ Add block"
  3. Add text and image to suit your site and product, formatted similarly to those shown above.
  4. Text format - Leave this as "Safe HTML" unless you need to use markup this format doesn't support.
  5. Region settings - Position the block on the page. The default product feature blocks appear in the blocks Precontent first, -second, and -third. Place your block where you need it.

  6. Visibility settings - The default product feature blocks are displayed on the front page only. You may configure your block to appear on certain pages based on page URL, content type, and user role.
  7. Click "Save block".
