We want one of our site to be developed in 19 languages as mentioned below:

  • Chinese – Mandarin (for China)
  • Chinese – Traditional (for Taiwan)
  • Korean
  • Japanese
  • Thai
  • Tagalog (Philippines)
  • Bahasa Malaysia
  • Bahasa Indonesia
  • Vietnamese
  • Hindi (India)
  • German
  • Dutch
  • Italian
  • Polish
  • Russian
  • Arabic
  • French
  • Spanish
  • Portuguese (Brazilian)

If I import .po files for respective languages, does drupalgardens support all these languages? Will I be able to show my site in all these languages?

Status: Resolved

Hi there,

At this time, Drupal Gardens supports internationalization (ability to make content available to users in different languages), but does not localize (translate) content.

You can use the process described in our Changing Your Site's Displayed Language docs to display your site in another community-supplied language, but you're responsible for translating your content if it's not already in the new language.

Please see our documentation on creating Multi-Language sites in Gardens.

Hope that points you in the right direction.
